We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team!
The Sales Manager provides direction to DuraTech’s Sales, Marketing and Sales Support Teams to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives. Trains and develops direct and indirect sales representatives on the technical knowledge of the business. Increases market share and penetration by exceeding customer expectations and continued innovation.
Leadership and Management
- Champions teamwork, innovation and process improvement throughout the departments and provides the team with appropriate leadership, mentoring, guidance, and advocacy to ensure its long-term success.
- Sets departmental goals in alignment with the company objectives and obtains planned results. Prepares budgets, progress reports and annual reports for the owners and Senior Leadership Team.
- Determines focus areas for process improvement efforts. Directs and manages process improvement activities with the intent to improve quality and productivity. Documents and tracks project improvement initiatives.
- Plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the work of department team members for effective and efficient operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Follows laws and regulations with regards to human resources and safety. Interviews, hires, and trains team members; develops work schedules; authorizes leave, PTO and overtime; reviews performance; disciplines team members; and addresses complaints and resolves problems. Ensures a safe work environment for all team members, identifying potential hazards and enforcing compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.
- Conducts meetings to communicate department and company changes. Recognizes achievements and promotes team member development for the purpose of enhancing knowledge and proficiency of team members. Creates an atmosphere that promotes team cohesiveness.
- Ensures effective communications and collaboration with all shifts and departments. Creates and maintains professional work relationships with external entities.
Sales and Marketing
- Oversees the sales function and manages sales operations.
- Develops sales goals including sales volume, cost of sales, and service profitability. Ensures that sales goals and forecasts are consistent with DuraTech’s strategic objectives. Ensures sales representatives’ goals are in line with DuraTech’s business objectives. Analyzes sales data to ensure sales momentum.
- Communicates in an effective and timely manner with sales representatives on issues related to the quoting process and resulting status, future quotes, customer relations, and all other concerns related to the sales process. Coordinates with other departments within DuraTech as needed.
- Reviews Request for Quotes (RFQs) from internal and external sales representatives. Manages the status and disposition of all RFQs.
- Maintains awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, and so forth.
- Communicates regularly and seeks input from sales representatives on issues affecting their areas of responsibility. Works with sales representatives to identify individual training needs and develops training and mentoring programs to meet those needs.
- Ensures sales representatives have their lead information up to date and are following up with prospects and customers in a timely manner.
- Plans and conducts sales meetings/calls to gather sales updates and account activities and to inform sales representatives of production capacity and plans.
- Assists Sales team members in determining monthly sales projections and action plans to achieve those projections. Monitors their progress and meets with them regularly to assess their performance.
- Facilitates meetings with the VP of Manufacturing to discuss design and tooling issues including tool design, methods for building tool, best manufacturing processes, production schedules and other job details.
- Establishes and maintains cost effective relationships with outside sales representative firms. Negotiates commission rates, payment schedules, and sales territory. Ensures that each representative has a clear understanding of the technical process for product development and offerings in order to better communicate with customers.
- Maintains regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction. Tours current and prospective customer sites and builds relationships to grow business. Travels to trade shows.
- Works with Sales Development Manager to create advertising plans, sponsorships, and promotions to build DuraTech’s image in the industry. Oversees research and development of potential customers, analysis of market research to determine potential customer needs and evaluation of product and service marketability to customers. Reviews their effectiveness.
Customer Support and Process Planning
- Oversees the coordination and activities of Customer Service and Process Planning Teams. Ensures that the teams operate in a fair and ethical fashion with all customers, suppliers and vendors and within the vision, values, and strategic operating plan of the company.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years’ of successful sales experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably within the screen printing industry.
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.

We have an opening for a 1st shift Technical Artist!
The Technical Artist generates computerized artwork, including proofs and film layouts according to customer artwork/blueprints and departmental procedures. Reviews customer artwork/blueprints for usability and identifies printing issues. Maintains and stores customer artwork/blueprints in original state received and converts a copy of the original customer artwork/blueprints for generation of final artwork into Illustrator.
- Converts customer supplied files to Illustrator and stores them in the customer art folder.
- Reviews customer artwork and blueprints for missing information and usability of the artwork; contacts customer service with usability issues and questions.
- Maintains customer documentation by file name and date received.
- Produces accurate art and die files per customer blueprints and artwork using computer software programs.
- Resolves minor design issues that need to be addressed for the printing process; works with the internal as well as external customers to resolve design issues that need approval, making design recommendations as needed to allow for the success of the printing process.
- Inspects artwork for quality and accuracy.

We have an opening for a Process Planner!
The Process Planner estimates the cost of manufacturing customer products and prepares a manufacturing plan for production. This includes reviewing customer blue prints and specifications, determining the most cost effective layout, utilizing costing formulas to determine price and working with the internal process to prepare the layout and instructions for the manufacturing plan. Lean methods are practiced to achieve process improvement in the department.
Assessment of Customer Specifications
- Reviews external customer documents (prints, samples, any written specifications) for requirements.
- Determines if required information is complete, if not, obtains any additional required information.
- Assesses raw material, ink, tooling, and processes required to manufacture the customer product.
- Determines if product can be manufactured completely in house, or if some jobs will need to be outsourced.
- Ability to maintain a neat and organized work area so others can easily access files and documentation when required.
Cost Estimation
- Determines cost for raw material, ink, tooling, and any special services.
- Utilizes costing formulas and tools to create a pricing structure for customer product.
- Reviews pricing for errors, possible required additions and/or discounts.
- Determines unit price for each unit of measure required by the customer and documents determined pricing in the internal database in a timely manner.
- Prepares an estimate of manufacturing costs and communicates the quote to the customer.
- Reviews documents for cost savings alternatives.
Preparation of Manufacturing Plan for Production
- Reviews internal production capabilities and processes used for manufacturing customer products.
- Determines if capabilities and/or processes have improved or changed since the time of cost estimate.
- Makes any necessary changes to the rough draft manufacturing plan and/or cost estimation.
- Prepares the manufacturing plan for production of the customer products.
- Determines most efficient manufacturing layout for customer products.

We are adding a Die Maker to our 1st Shift!
The Die Maker will build or repair all types, sizes and shapes of jigs, fixtures, tools and dies. Assembles and tests tools and dies on manufacturing equipment to assure they are press ready and meet customer’s specifications.
- Prepares steel rule and punch press dies ahead of time to eliminate down time. Assures press ready tools to meet work schedule.
- Reads and interprets information provided, i.e. blueprints, verbal or written instructions and/or sample parts, to build jigs, fixtures, tools and dies.
- Replaces steel rule and repairs dies, including ejection work and re-ruling.
- Plans the setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools, considering types of material, tolerances, types of cutting tools, coolants, and lubricants.
- Determines specifications for inspection of work, using precision measuring and gauging tools, performing required inspection during building of the tool.
- Uses manual equipment to build jigs, fixtures, tools and dies.
- Fits and assembles jigs, fixtures, tools and dies.
- Disassembles dies, changes piercers/punches – sharpens, re-aligns and cleans in the proper order.
- Trouble shoot dies in need of spring pressure adjustment, timing or grinding, determining spring pressure needs or how much to grind off.
- Maintains current status on die maintenance and tooling repairs, die making, die repairs, and re-rules.

We have an opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk
The Accounts Payable Associate accurately completes all accounts payable functions, closely following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Ensures professional contact with internal and external customers and vendors for DuraTech Industries and Pretasky companies.
- Coordinates accounts payable activities for all domestic DuraTech divisions and other assigned Pretasky companies.
- Verifies packing slip quantity with invoice and vendor name.
- Obtains signatures and determines the appropriate general ledger account for invoices without purchase orders.
- Accurately enters accounts payable invoices into computer systems.
- Imports and exports accounting batches from one computer software program to another.
- Researches and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices.
- Manages vendor invoicing and payment through EIPP system including daily vendor invoices and processes in Seradex.
- Prints checks, prepares checks for signature, and processes payments once approval for check run is obtained.
- Manages vendors that are paid by credit card.
- Pays vendors by credit card and prepares documentation for credit card payment approval.
- Coordinates the filing accounts payable and vendor invoices.
- Reconciles assigned GL accounts for month end processing.

We are hiring On-line Inspectors for our 1st and 3rd shifts!
The On-Line Inspector monitors the screen printing process to quickly identify defective product and incorrect process parameters, alerting the operators, trainers and/or team leader to resolve the problem. This position will play a key role in ensuring product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Reviews parts at set-up to ensure proper dimensions and parts match customer approved print.
- Checks fit and registration to the template on first colors and all cutting colors.
- Confirms process settings are correct per work order routing.
- Reads and understands job routings /quality plans.
- Verifies density and gloss charts are completed accurate.
- Audits jobs in Screening for defects during the printing process to alert the team leader of possible order shortage due to issues.
- Continuously monitors product to ensure it meets internal and external customer quality requirements.
- Audits the jobs during the printing process, communicates any defects found to the operator and alerts the team leader and/or assistant team leader.
Must haves:
